Our contoured, multi-section foam padded seats are well liked for their comfort, but if you need something different, we can supply a seat pan or padded seat board for custom cushioning.
We offer two ranges of multi-section foam padded backrest,
- a low curved profile backrest with lumbar support, or
- a deep curved profile backrest with deep sides for greater lateral support. It is a popular choice.Alternatively you can fit your own backrest directly onto the backrest canes.
The Traxx 2 has a highly adjustable seating system to allow you to get your seating just right for you, and to provide for growth if you need it. It can be adjusted quickly and simply with just a few tools - and all the adjustments are built into the frame! You can adjust the -
- Seat width - in 1" increments from 16" to 20"
- Seat depth - infinite adjustment from 16" to 20"
- Backrest height - can be adjusted 4"
- Backrest angle - from 85 degrees to 130 degrees
- Armrest height - from xx" to yy"
- Armrest pad position - 4"
- Footplate height - 4"
- Footplate position - forwards/backwards, side to side
- Footplate angle - dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion & eversion
The Traxx 2 also has a great suspension system, giving you a smooth, safe, comfortable ride over rough or uneven ground, and its large tyres are good for climbing over kerbs and other obstacles.
